Mmm. Pours a darker golden colour. Aroma is not right im not sure what it is but it doesnt seemn right to me though there is some maltiness kickin in as it warms. Taste is just not upto par with the cask stuff, lightly malty with a dryish finsh but just not as good all round.

Bottle. Pours a golden color with white head and bubbles adhering to the side of the glass. Aroma of grains and herbacious flowers. The flavor is mostly raw barley with some floral hops and maybe some honey in the background.

Golden with a dryish clean mouthfeel. Subtle mouthfeel but overall it tasted like a jaded beer if such a thing is possible.

Malty aroma. Off golden colour. Medium bitterness and quite medium in everything. An average pour.

500ml bottle. Copper colour, thin off white head. Good aroma, nutty, bit of hay, but I am not keen on the taste, bit cardboardy, overly carbonated and not that good. Won’t try again

Bottle
Perfumed, honeyish, roselike hop aroma. Golden colour, heavily carbonated, foamy unstable head. Neutral taste - papery malt base witha int of hop finish. Medium to light body, sparkly mouthfeel. Boring.

Well golden is an apt description of the color but this smells likes tofu tastes and that’s bad. Tastes a little better thankfully, but too malty to bee truly great. I make a promise not to spend my gold on this beer again.

Bottle BBE Nov 05 (12/07/05). Some peachy hops rounded sweet malt with a hint of toffee. Thin body and overly sweet - doesnt seem quite right for this style of beer.
