Nice experience after a long day of crap. Very complete full mouthfeel, tastes great. Strong bold flavor that jumps out at you, unlike many other organic ales. I recommend this one. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Oct 24, 2004 Pours a hazy golden as promised (har!) with a little bit of head and a few tiny spots of the old lace here and there. Nose is interesting but not really so great--banana, toffee and a bit of gypsum. Really, this pretty much tastes like a bad European lager, a bit too sweet with not much going on except some play between a bunch of flavors that don’t mix well or necessarily taste good on their own. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 10, 2004 Brilliant deep gold, nice lacing. Nose sweet toffee, some berry. Flavor is quite sweet and malty, rather tart in its fruitiness, green apples. Decent hoppy bite at the end. Creamy. Pretty good stuff. igel (196), New Mexico, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Sep 2, 2004 Pours an amber color with a hint of red, a small head, light carbonation, and sticky lace. The smell is of mowed grass, malt and hints of fruit. The taste has a light sweet start and a biting finish. The feel is fairly watery with some cider characteristics, but little effervescence ? not a lot of body. IMHO: A refreshing start and mouth feel, with very unusual balance of characteristics. Hard to pin point, not that distinctive, and not very promising. Boystout (900), Chisinau, Moldova
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Aug 19, 2004 Pale golden colour, thin head, unpleasant sourish aroma, empty palate with hints of rotten apricots. Effin’ organic beers! chriso (4852), London, Greater London, England
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 15, 2004 It’s certainly a golden colour, but I was a bit surprised by the dominance of biscuity, cereally malt on the aroma. Some more aromatic elements do appear on closre exemination, but are well hidden. The flavour is also dry and malty, with some bitterness, finishing bitter, slightly acidic and with a tinny edge. OK, but I found it a little dull. I prefer a more lively hop presence in beers of this style. 500ml bottle from beersofeurope.co.uk BBE 31 August 2004.

First organic beer, since they started spraying or what. Anyways, this is a nice and quiet beer. Promissing sent of fresh cut grass, hops and vanilla. No real mouthfeel, but a sweet peachy finish. Good for a hot evening in a beachbar...like mine, hehe. Emil (6074), Copenhagen, Denmark
