500ml bottle. Golden coloured with a slight white head. This didn’t make much of an impact. A bit of malty aroma followed by some bitterness. Ok.

500ml bottle-pours a thin off white head and hazy gold color. Aroma is medium malt-some sweet, apricot, earthy. Taste is medium malt-some sweet, secondary earthy/spicy hops. OK carbonation.

Draft at Elliott Bay Brewing’s Burien pub. Crystal clear medium amber with a thin moussy head and good spotty lace. Not much happening on the nose except dust and butter. Same goes for the mid-palate. Thin pepper hop cling on the finish. Refreshing and rather a nice surprise in some ways, but unexceptional.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a longlasting creamy off-white head. Fruity malty aroma with some hints of citrus. Dry crisp fruity malty flavor. Fruity finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Bottle. Medium high off-white lasting head. Hazy amber body. Weak barley malt aroma. Light and hoppy barley malt flavor. A bit flat and boring.

This crisp, light-bodied English-styled ale from Scotland is a wonderful session beer. Toasted grain flavor and a delectable dry-hopped finish makes this beer real treat. Slightly oxidized cardboard flavor probably from long journey from UK to Pacific NW. Still as solid beer.

WFM sample. Interesting hop and citrus nose. Taste is subdued hops with a strange off staleness. Lemon and orange notes, but mostly off-putting.
