Very flowery flavour, a bit like elderflower, but in the good way, not the crappy way. Also with a hint of tea. OK bitterness in the aftertaste. DJMonarch (6845), Northwich, Cheshire, England

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 9, 2005 Comes out on burns day, and is always a good beer to have on. One of cali’s better ales, a slightly different taste to the usual, overpowering hoppiness, though it is still there. Some malt maybe even yeast to make a different and refreshing change.
One to try if your about on burns day. imdownthepub (5141), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Feb 4, 2004 Cask Conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Pale gol with thin short head. Badly kept beer, little condition and overcold, surprising that there was any character left, but struggling through it all a little zesty hoppy beer came through. Do I mark the condition or the beer? I upped it slightly. SilkTork (4173), Rochester, Kent, England

Pleasant fresh citric rush - pineapples, melons, etc. Very juuicy with a mild pale malt sweetness. Pushing into an American Pale Ale style. Nothing special, but still quite tasty. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Jan 27, 2004 Cask-conditioned. Lagery malt aroma and flowery hops with some soapiness. Peach and soft fruit flavours, sweet with growing bitterness. Not sure it would work with haggis. Almost works for me but not quite.
