kmacphail (37), Isle of Lewis, Scotland Jul 13, 2008 I tried this on cask in the Weatherspoons in Inverness. It was a hot day and went down very well. The beer poured cloudy and slightly resembled dish water. The nose was of hops, grass and citrus. These continued through to the taste but with a stronger citrus taste than in the nose. I thought that it was a nice alternative to shandy as it did not start to become sickly sweet by the end of the pint. renffisch (495), london, Greater London, England Jun 24, 2008 cask @ the tap in wim village. i agree, the lemon is questionable. light golden in colour with a creamy white head. Nose of coriander and nettles, a tad of citric hop, but nowhere near actual lemons. similar in taste. fair enough beer, but somewhat mis-named. Magicdave6 (5400), London, Greater London, England Jun 18, 2008 Cask in the counting house. Aroma is pale almost lager malts, herbal and grassy hops, some like citrus sharpnss, but you’d never have known lemon if you were to have it blind. Taste is similar, quite tasty and not bad for a cali beer. cgarvieuk (4159), Edinburgh, Scotland Jun 14, 2008 Cask at blue blazer ...Golden orange ... Light hop nose ... fruity tart hop ... with no real lemon in it... tasty enough but uninspired.
