Caledonian Lorimers Cask Lager

Cask Handpump at the GBBF Earl’s Court, London 09/08/2008 White head. Butterscotch aroma. Golden coloured and hoppy with a crisp malty finish.

Golden with a small white head. Aroma of butterscotch, grain and toffee. Dry and grainy malt flavour with a pungent husky note

Cask @ GBBF 2008. Pours a clear golden color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma with some weak hoppy hints. Fruity malty caramel flavor with some hoppy hints. Has a slightly sweetish fruity malty caramel finish with some hoppy hints in the aftertaste.

Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, old hay, toffee, moderate buttery. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. (030808)

Cask, 4.5%. Weak fruity aroma. Clear golden colour. Stable white head. Good creamy mouthfeel and flavour. Creamy dust notes. Low to medium bitterness. A bit fruity for a lager, but good.

Cask on the Sheffield, on RateBeer Valley of Beer Crawl ’08...bright pale yellow,sweet overfloral hop,light sweet light fruit hop

Cask, The Highcross, Leicester. Copper with a dense white head. Aromas are biscuit malts with cream. Pineapple and citrus with zesty yeast. Flavours are bitter lemon with some sourness. Sweet tropical fruit with floral, peppery notes. Decent.

Cask at the OId Swanne, Evesham. Lorimer’s is a pale gold beer with a sweet aroma. It tastes fruity and somewhat bready with some bitterness in the finish. Overall, it’s refreshing and easy drinking.
