Sep 20, 2008 Cask at The Market Porter. Pale golden-amber beer. The aroma is lightly tart with a bit of peach/apricot fruitiness. Light cologne/woody aroma over a soft bready maltiness. Some sweet honeyish character with a rustic breadiness. Meh, kind of run-of-the-mill.

Sep 20, 2008 Cask conditioned at The Woolpack, Banbury. Bronze with white head. Fairly straightforward bitter, mostly malty, caramel, sweetish with a faint hop, I didn’t get the Willamette hops at all unfortunately. Pretty average.

Light amber with a thin white rim. Big bready malt with some slight diacetyl giving it notes of vanilla and wood and just about staying at a tolerable level. Faint bitterness in the finish. Rather dull.
