May 21, 2008 Sample at the brewpub (as Coco Porter). Pours nearly black with a thin tan head that dissipates quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of chocolate and roasted malt. Medium, smooth body with flavors of milk chocolate, malt and mild hops. Mocha/cocoa flavor in the finish that lingers a bit. Above average overall.

Jan 18, 2008 on tap-pours a patchy light tan head and mahogany color. Aroma is dark malt-chocolate/cocoa powder. Taste is dark malt-chocolate/cocoa powder, cherry, faint hops. Lighter body than expected.
