Commercial Description:
A very dark full-bodied Ale. An extremely rich Stout with medium hop bitterness and a flavor that is quite favorable. The chocolate and black malts will prevail for the finish.

Draught at the brewpub: Blac, nose of dry roast and a bit of sweet licorice. The flavor is dry, lightly bitter and sour. On nitro this would be a guinnes. Light body, average stout.

Nitro, on tap@Callahans: The darkest of brown in color with a thick beige guinness like head. Aroma of cocoa powder. Flavor is light coffee and cream (mocha) with a light bite in the finish. Palate is smooth and creamy, but thin.

Draft. Dark Dark Brown. Head was pretty thick. Mostly coffee on the nose. Flavors added on chocolate and some roastiness with a bit of a hoppy aftertaste. Not a bad choice.
