Jan 18, 2008 on tap-pours a thin tan head that laces and amber color. Aroma is medium malt, faint metallic hops. Taste is medium malt, metallic hops. OK carbonation.

Nov 18, 2008 Sample at the brewpub. This brew pours a clear amber color with a medium thin off-white head that recedes steadily. Spotty lacing. Malty aroma with some caramel and hops. Medium, soft body with a sweet malty character. Notes of caramel and nuts in the background along with a pinch of hops. The finish is sweet and malty with a short aftertaste. Just average overall.

Mar 14, 2009 On tap at brewpub. Didn’t like the place much. Color was auburn/amber with an off white head. Aroma was pretty weak; maybe caramel. Flavor was quite good for style. Toasted malt, caramel, reddish malt. Ok.
