Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A dark ruby to brown beer with a dense, beige head. Cellarish, roasted aroma with something unidentified smelling bad, but fortunately not strong. Sugar, some chocolate, roasted malt and some bitterness in the flavor. Sweetish and slightly sticky in the mouth. It finished with chocolate and bitterness. Not very impressive at all. (080412)

Bottled. Aroma has sweetish, sugarry malts, roast and some fruit. Clear, dark brown coloured with a big beige head. Taste is very sweet (too sweet) with lots of sugar. Some metal and dark fruits/prunes. Bad stuff. No wonder it is retired.

Courtesy of Fonefan. Transparent, dark brow with a light, sweet aroma with hints of roasted malt and fruit. the flavour is sweet with notes of roasted malt and a slightly harsh and grapefruit like, very light bitterness. IMO not much of a stout.

Deep amber of color with a brown head. An aroma of prunes, sweet notes and notes of yeast. A flavor with dark fruits, hops, sugar and dry notes.

Bottle, bought @ Willems, Grobbendonk.
[Vintage 2006]
Pours almost black with a nice medium and slightly creamy brownish head. Aroma is sweet, some roasted malts, a little metal and some dark, dried fruits. Light mouthfeel. Flavour is thin, far too sweet and sugary. The roasted edge is almost nowhere to be found
