Bottle thanks to Grovlam. A almost black beer with a huge beige head. The aroma is of roasted malt, fruits and metal, the taste is sweet fruity and metallic. Medium body with a sweet light metallic finish. A bit to sweet.

Bottle. Huge creamy light brown head that mostly lasted. Black color with a reddish glow. I had expected a little bit more of this one, but did not match my expectations. Aroma of light roasted malt, grain, metallic, heavy brown sugar like, hint of butter, chocolate and fruit. Again disappointing light bodied with a soft carbonation. Moderated sweet brown sugar flavor. Strange flour like sweet finish.

Brux 07. Pours a clear dark brown with an off white head. Woah, this one is sweet. Not much other aromas than molasses and some bread. Medium bodied with an oily mouthfeel. No carbonation. Way too sweet.

Bottled. Pitch black opaque colour with big beigeish brown head. Cooked vegetables in aroma along with some pepper and metallic notes. Flavour is strong caramel and candy along with some roasted hints. Not that exciting...

(Bottled) Opaque dark brown color with a medium, foamy-creamy beige head. Mild, metallic, dark lager aroma with vegetable hints. Sweet-sugary flavor with some roasty-ashy malt. Light to medium-bodied, sugary-roasty palate with quite high carbonation. Unfortunately a typical Belgian stout: sweet, empty and uninspiring.

Bottle, Brussels, May 2005. Head is initially average sized, frothy, brown, mostly lasting. Body is dark brown to black. Aroma is moderately malty (roasted grain, molasses), with a note of candy sugar. Flavor is heavily sweet, lightly acidic. Finish is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Medium body, velvety/creamy/oily texture, lively carbonation. Excessively sweet with a simple aroma.
