Draught at Cally’s. One of the more disappointing offerings. Very clear golden body with a tiny head. Almost drinks like a lager, this one has obviously been filtered but lacks the body many other filtered wheats often have. That said, it is easy to drink and is probably what they were shooting for.

Sampled with walter, courtesy of Rob, the Calhoun’s (strike that, it is now officially "Cally’s" thanks to the vagaries of trademark law) hookup dude. Pale gold, hint of yellow, lightly hazy, decent head faded fairly quickly. Aroma was straightforward wheat. Flavor matched, plenty of grain, not watery, and a faint drying bitterness on the finish. Remarkably food friendly, paired better than I expected with the cow that had been slapped on the butt and shown to the table. Really quite enjoyable as an easy drinking session brew.

Sampled from a growler courtesy my bro (thanks Rob!). Pale gold with little head. Don’t remember too much about it-- light malty flavor, a little crisp and dry. Wished for a little more heft, but it was tasty enough, and went nicely with some of the rarest steak I’ve encountered....

Clear gold with a wispy head. The aroma is fairly hoppy for the style. Very light wheat malt in the flavor. The flavor has a nicely hoppy finish. We’re not talking Gumballhead here or anything, but this is better than the usual American Wheat.
