| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 1, 2007 Easily one of the most interesting brews I have had to date at cally’s. I think the recipe may have changed a bit since the last description, pours light, hazy unfiltered yellow. Lots of citrus in the nose, good dry body with a very interesting tart finish. Almost geuze lambicesque. Not sure how true to the style it is, but very interesting nonetheless. walter (359), Staunton, Virginia, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 21, 2005 Draft. Pale straw color, unfiltered; looks like fresh white grapefruit juice. Aromas of fresh lemon, grapefruit. wheat, yeast, and very slight banana and clove spice. Flavor follows nicely: very grainy and yeasty, with a good citrus tang and very subtle, lingering spiciness. Very crisp and refreshing. Really well crafted, I quite enjoyed this one! bsawatzky (152), harrisonburg, Virginia, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | May 20, 2005 Reminded me of a Hoegarten. A good beer, nice for summer. A very citrusy spice to the flavour, nice hoppy aroma and bite. Its cloudy yellow colour is just right, and all in all it feels like they did this one just right. | 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | May 8, 2005 Huge thanks to Rob for bringing me down a growler of this! Poured a perfect pale lemon yellow, hazy with a slight but lasting white head. Aroma was lightly wheaty, a faint whiff of lemon, and a spicy burst of coriander. The flavor was similar, definite wheat backbone, the citrus flavors moving faintly in the background between orange and lemon, and a good, balancing shot of coriander that added the necessary bitterness. A faint ash note is detectable on the dry finish, the only thing distracting from this fine beer. An excellent rendition of the style, and probably my favorite of the Calhouns’ lineup.
