Tried at the end of the night, had these beers sat out too long? It was tremendously thin bodied. Had a good deal of sweetness though, sugary and light. Some hops on the end, citrusy and lightly bitter. Light honey-golden appearance with a tiny white head. Aroma of candied oranges, vanilla and sweet malt. maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 17, 2004 Medium amber, nice creamy head. Aroma of pines. Flavor is aggressively hoppy, with concentrated notes of pine and resin. The body is just a hair thinner than I would prefer, needing just a bit more of a malty note to keep things balanced. But a nice hop kick to keep me happy. Thanks to Rob for hauling down the growler! can8ianben (903), Pasadena, California, USA

I would definitely order it again. Calhouns is a great place to have a pint and a bite to eat. MaltDawg (778), Richmond, Virginia, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 1, 2007 Good effort from the boys at Cally’s. Dark amber pour, slightly hazy with a smallish head. Relatively lightweight for an IPA, but appears more to their clientele. Decent hoppiness, a bit sweet for my tastes.
