Aroma is sweet, and strikingly like Trolli Peach Gummy Rings. Body is similar, adds a bit of lemon. Relatively sweet for a pilsner, lacking some other characteristics of the style (hops?). jcwattsrugger (5582), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

Pours to a beautiful, bright, deep golden color, with a creamy, white head, and a moderate carbonation. The nose on this beer is excellent, with lots of good, herbal and grassy hop aroma, paired with crisp, pilsner malt. The body is crisp and clean, with excellent pale malt flavors, on a round, polished body. This beer finishes with more really good pale malt flavor, then ends with an excellent, herbal/grassy hop bitterness that lingers. Excellent example of pilsner. Lots of good aromas, flavors, and bitterness, yet so drinkable. Very food friendly as well. Would make a good match to a number of dishes on the menu at Calhoun’s. can8ianben (914), Pasadena, California, USA

It isn’t what I think of when I think pilsner, but I did enjoy it with a meal. Nice spicy aroma, but lots of sour corn present as well. I do like the hop touch, but it wasn’t as wild as our waitor made it out to be. jgb9348 (2515), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA

Aroma of crisp hops, fresh malt and a small amount of a medicinal twang. Light-bodied; Malty mouthfeel with some of the herbal and lemony flavours coming out after a second. Aftertaste filled with the sharp and distinct qualities of the style, such as the fresh hops and malt. Overall, a nice example of the style from a small and seemingly impressive brewery. I sampled this on ’pseudo-draught’ at the Old Dominion Brew Festival 2004 on 27-June-2004 in Ashburn, Virginia. MilkmanDan (1940), Eagan, Minnesota, USA

Nice golden color, good lasting head. Grainy aroma with grassy hops. Flavor matched, but with a spicier hop note than indicated by the nose. Good body. Thanks for the growler Rob!
