The aroma is a very faint bit of malt. The flavor has a pleasing caramel maltiness and a bit of cereal. Very low hopping levels. Not a bad amber. jcwattsrugger (5525), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

It differs slightly in the lack of a smoky presence, but it is a good beer with similar amber colour and nice bold flavour. Kinz (2207), Glen Allen, Virginia, USA

Pleasant hop taste, empahsis on grapefruit and orange, Faint caramel accented malt aroma. Light body. Decent, enjoyable, not spectacular. RERATE, almost 2 years from my original rating. Thanks to Rob, got to try a very fresh sample. This strays off of a typical amber and could easily be considered a bitter, with pleasant grapefruit and floral bitterness. Quite nice, and worth a few more points.
