It doesn’t surpass that by any means, you won’t be shocked by what is going on. But this is a good offering.
UPDATE -- they also offer a limited time "Bourbon Barrel Aged" version of the Plowman Porter. bsawatzky (152), harrisonburg, Virginia, USA

The flavor is decently bittered and balanced, but bland and thin. Hints of chocolate and instant coffee. Light-to-medium-bodied with a dry mouthfeel. Short, crisp, clean finish.
