Unfortunately they’re closed on Mondays, so my friend and I went to Cheers Bar down the street. This is a good alt. Nice color and flavor, with the copper color a nice touch. Aroma of caramel multi-grain malt, a slight citrus peel scent and a touch of flowery hops. Taste is medium bodied, smooth, soft carbonation with a dry multi-grain flavor. Finish is soft, creamy with a dry bread aftertaste. Very light bitterness. The dry multi-grain flavor really stands out in this new brew from Calumet.
