Jul 20, 2008 On a side trip to New Holstein, had to stop in at the Roll Inn. Unfortunately they’re closed on Mondays, so my friend and I went to Cheers Bar down the street. This is a good alt. Nice color and flavor, with the copper color a nice touch.

Aug 24, 2007 Light copper color with a hint od garnet as well. Moderate off-white head. Aromas of toasted nuts and grains. Mild herbal scent as well. Flavors match well with the aromas, with lightly toasted malt, grain and nuts. Hints of herbs and dried weeds. A nice alt.

Jul 23, 2007 During second visit to Calumet brewery this year, this beer pours a clear golden reddish amber brew with a creamy off-white head that slowly dissolves to a off-white ring. Aroma of caramel multi-grain malt, a slight citrus peel scent and a touch of flowery hops. Taste is medium bodied, smooth, soft carbonation with a dry multi-grain flavor. Finish is soft, creamy with a dry bread aftertaste. Very light bitterness. The dry multi-grain flavor really stands out in this new brew from Calumet.
