Commercial Description:
Fresh juiced apples add a nice light apple flavor to the wheat based beer. The apple flavor is very fleeting and it finishes clean.

[Growler] shared by skyview. Pours a hazy gold with a soapy beige head. Aroma and flavor are of marshmallow, spices, apple, caramel, and a little bit of butter.

Copper color with no head. Caramel malt and apple aroma. Very sweet grain taste and a bit of caramel to back it up. Almost no apple taste.

Bob, I assume this is what you served to me as "Calumet Honey Crisp." Let me know if I have the wrong beer. All malt. No apple to speak of in my growler pour. Light copper color. A drop of honey is in there. The it reminds me of their oktoberfest.

On draught at the sixth annual Crafty Apple Fest in Chilton, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-clear golden amber brew with a creamy off-whitehead that slowly dissipates to a thin off-white head and some excellent lacing. Aroma of mostly caramel and dark wheat malt, a touch of sweet apples, apricots, a hint of cinnamon and allspice. Taste is smooth caramel malt with some nice apple sweet balance. Finish has a semi-dry texture as the balanced malt and apple aftertaste slowly disappears. The 2008 vintage is slightly darker than previous years. Overall a nicely balanced apple fruit and wheat malt beverage.
