Another great brew from Rowlands. Love those carmel malts.

Rael nice dense creamy brown head on top of a deep mohagany body. Rich nutty brown in looks, taste and aroma. Very nutty nose. Creamy smooth mouthfeel sweet caramel, of course, and a nice big robust nutty brown with hints of barley in there as well. Not supreme, but definitely awesome.

This is just like all Rowlands beers, lots of good, well rounded malts. The nutty profile is there, but not overwhelming. Also goes down smooth, of course.

probably my second fav of the batch. Definately one of teh better brown ales i have ever had, probably because im not that much of a fan of this style. What chimaybabe says goes!

Deep medium brown in color with amber accents. Creamy, whitish-gray rim of head. Aroma is walnuts just cracked from the shell and Nutella spread over Wonderbread. Flavor rush from the get-go; robust nuts that say 100% pecan. A little bit of caramel sweetness that reminds me of a Bite O’Honey candy bar. This is probably as good as a nut brown gets.

Fourth stop during Wisconsin Trip #2 and one of 11 brews offered at this small town brewpub. Pours a dark brown brew with an off white head. Head disappears at an average speed with excellent lacing. Armoa scents picked up include caramel, Toll House chocolate chip cookies with walnuts, bananas and roasted barley malt. Taste is smooth and sweet with light carbonation. Most excellent!

I was a little disapointed in this one. While it’s a good beer, I guess I just expected more. Only had one.
