There is a drop of honey in here, but not much of it. Very much like an Oktoberfest. phishpond417 (1935), Madison, Wisconsin, USA

Well balanced, with soft honey character not overly sweet but smooth lingering finish with delicate saaz hops. kp (8399), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Apr 17, 2007 Fourth stop during Wisconsin Trip #2 and one of 11 brews offered at this small town brewpub. Pours a clear light pale orange yellow brew with a small white head that disappears fast. Lacing is fair to good. Aromas include caramel, light citrus rind, some sugary clover honey and bitter hops. Finish is average with light carbonation, a little on the thick side, and sweet after taste. Ughsmash (4018), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 21, 2005 Tap. Clear, medium golden pour with a short white head. Spicy hops, sweet caramel, and lots of fresh honey in the aroma. Honey abounded in the flavor as well, with citrus and caramel accents and a mild bitterness around the edges. Balance was quite nice. Crisp, smooth, and sweet sensations on the palate. Finish was a little thick with the sweetness, but this was certainly a tasty brew. BCAR (216), Naperville, Illinois, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 9, 2005 Stemmy honey flavor with a bit of brown sugar sweetness. Less of a honey emphasis in the flavor, it’s balanced with a rye-like component or some sort of green bitter hops. 1FastSTi (2557), Glendale, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Aug 6, 2005 Pours to a thick white creamy head atop a straw colored body. Slight hazyness. Fully lasting head. The aroma is strongly honey. Sort of reminds me of Viking’s Mjod (aroma). The flavor is lots of honey and something like lactose sugars. (which later I found out is not really that but the fact that Bob uses the same lager yeast for most of his beer). I was not really fond of the palate on this one. Should be lighter and more refreshing.
