During second visit to Calumet brewery this year, this beer pours a clear golden pale blonde brew with a fast dissolving white head that leaves behind a white ring. Aroma is very light with scents of baker’s bread dough, honey and a touch of pepper spice. Taste is light bodied, slightly carbonated with a dry multi-grain flavor with some rye malt character. Finish is smooth, slick with a slight dry bitterness that lingers around after the finish.

Dark golden to amber color with a small diminished off white head. Aromas of toffee and butterscotch. Flavors of cream, honey and crystal malt. Mild alcohol distracts slightly.

Clear golden body. Sweet aroma - sugary malt. Nicely hopped (saaz?) flavor with a tasty sweet base.

The aroma is very light. Hard to get any aroma. The appearance is golden copper with visible carbonation. The flavor is sweet malts and confectioners sugar. Light grains. The palate is smooth and velvety. I think you better get a big sample of this to get an aroma.

Clear yellow with a slight orange hue. Aroma is composed of croissants, mildly sweet toffee and some spices. Flavor is rye bread, cornhusks and rice pilaf. Some stinging qualities of dactylic bitterness which intercedes a unique flavor. Nicely balanced, and carbonation levels are right on. Musky finish.

No head.. amber color. Slight sweet caramel taste, German hops with some slight grapefruit hints. Great beer.

Ok, so I don’t know what kind of beer this was, but it was damn good. One of the few I had 2 pints of. Gawd bless Bob!
