prosqtor (408), Appleton, Wisconsin, USA Nov 21, 2007 Lagers are not usually my thing, but this one is quite good. From the tap at the brewery in Chilton. Pours clear golden yellow with a white head that leaves a ring. Aroma is white bread, with a hint of hops. Smooth and lightly carbonated, with some more bread. Doesn’t have the sweet corn taste of too many midwestern lagers. Bought a growler for Mrs. Prosqtor. Skyview (4007), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Sep 9, 2007 On draught at the Calumet brewpub in Chilton, Wisconsin. Pours a clear golden pale yellow brew with a fast dissolving white head that has some good lacing and leaves behind a white ring. Aroma of light malty white bread, a touch of citrus and some floral hops. Taste is medium bodied, very light carbonation with some light malty bread flavors with a moist cellar flavor. Finish is slightly sweet, a slight touch of yeast and more malt aftertaste than hop bitterness. JPDIPSO (4865), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Aug 24, 2007 Straw color with a smaller bright white head. Light aromas of pale malt and a touch of floral hops. Simple flavors of pale malt and again floral hops. A straightforward light lager. Malt and hops in the flavor with little other fanfare. I wish more lagers were like this.
