(Draught) Pours a hazy dark red body with a small beige head. Aroma of tart grapes, citrus, leather, and oak. Flavor of sour cherry, earthiness, caramel, and funkiness with a dry oak finish.

Tap at Night of the Funk. A lot of oak in the flavor, mild tart, thin body. Quite sticky. A good bit boozy and fusel. Aroma of oak and spruce, some cherry. "Sticky" is the overwhelming note here.

Tap from 08 Night of the Funk. Aroma overly strong in the whiskey department with some semi-dried, very dark fruits. Flavor of sweet and tart candied fruits. It’s certainly not indifferent-tasting, but I’m rather indifferent about it.

Tap sampled on 09/26/08 at Night of the Funk. Pours a dirty brown with a small white head. Aroma of tart fruits and whiskey. Quite a strong alcoholic aroma. Flavor is tart initially with a whiskey finish. This is an odd blend and I didn’t like it much. I don’t know why this was blended in a whiskey barrel because it really took away from the sour flavors. Ugh.
