Swirls of bourbon, sour mash, Brett., and roastiness in the nose. Quite the complex amalgamation of elements. Tart aroma and flavor, with understated roastiness. A wood-aged quality and oakiness break through on the palate, Vanillins soon emerge along with some unexpected permutations of flavor. Mysterious and enjoyable.

Some light bretty funk peaks through. Dark brown almost black. Light roasted malts, lots of barrel. Tart with light spicy and tart finish. Dry funky brett notes. Interesting did not get much porter or spice, as the barrel and brett took the lead in this one.

Big dark porter with pumpkin flavor this was a killer brew. Roasty malt with slight vanilla this was a great beer for the day.
