May 11, 2008 Cask conditioned at Banbury Beer Fest ’08. Gold with white head. Quite a light beer for the relatively higher ABV. Thinnish with a dry malty body, reasonable bitterness with a touch of zesty lemony hop. Fairly standard.

Feb 16, 2008 Cask (gravity dispense), St Albans Beer Festival, September 2007. This outfit has been brewing since 1997 yet I had never rated one of their beers before so I was pleased to finally get the opportunity. This is a solid, clean golden bitter with a light biscuity malt presence and a decent ration of lemony hop. Distinctly dry mouthfeel. Nothing particularly out of the ordinary but a pretty decent offering.

Oct 1, 2007 A Sim rate (cask at St Albans BF): Very citric aroma - lemon and grapefruit. Tastes exactly like an orange fruit pastille - slightly sour inside but coated in sweetness. Quite nice, but rather ordinary.
