341ml bottle from an LCBO Discovery Pack. Soft floral and toasty aroma. Taste is sweet malt with some citrus. Pleasant.

33 cl bottle, Mulmur, ON, Canada. Crisp medium amber colour, surprising floral aroma. Sweet taste with some vanilla and caramel coming through. Bitter finish.

Sample at Brewnosers’ meeting April 2008. Pale amber colour with a mostly lasting tan head. Honey, leafy, and earthy aroma. Honey and bready malts with a light woody bitter finish. Medium bodied, smooth and refreshing. Good but not overly exciting.

Bottle. A transparent copper colour with a fast fading head and steady carbonation. There’s plenty of leafy hops in the aroma with soft toffee in the malt. Mouthfeel is thin. I taste burnt nuts, caramel, grass in the hops, water. Finishes dry.

From the OCB discovery pack no. 2. 341ml bottle poured into a mug. Poured a auburn (orange-brown) color with a 1/4" head with slowly dissipated. Looks good. Smells of caramel, malts and toasts mostly. There’s a hint of something fruity in the background but I can’t nail down the aroma. Tastes mostly sweet toasty malts and some hop bitterness. Low carbonation. Smooth mouth-feel. Just kind of average. I could easily drink a few in an evening but I would probably get bored of it.

Light malty aroma. Pours a clear copper with thin head. Watery and thin. Calling it average is giving it praise.

Half of a 12oz bottle. Crisp copper. Light head. Light malty scent. Smells like beer. Light metallic edge to a light caramel flavour. A hint of soapiness.

Draught. Pours a clear copper with good-sized creamy off-white head and decent retention. Nose of slightly sweet, slightly roasty caramel malt and moderate hopiness. Taste fairly true to the nose. Slightly bitter finish. I’ve only ever had their lager in the bottle but it was pretty underwhelming. This was much better. It’s a decent beer - sort of a poor man’s Mill St. Tankhouse.

Light brown colour with an aroma of malt and maple. Taste is slight bitterness, malt and caramel. Real nice medium body.
