Clear, light orange brown body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. Odd grape leaf yeast flavour with a long sweet aftertaste. Light-medium body. Actually kind of poor, sadly.

I tried this beer on draught on April 2, 2009 at "Smokeless Joe’s" in Toronto, Ontario, Camada. The beer poured a translucent reddish gold with a frothy white head. The aroma was grainy malt, with some florally hops. The mouthfeel was medium bodied, with medium-high carbonation. The flavour was more grainy malt, with a little hoppish tone, and a nice bitter finish.

Aroma is sweet (sickly so) with grain/corn notes. Sweetness is more muted in flavour but similar notes. Slight hoppiness. Not particularly impressive. Clear light gold with a thick fizzy-foamy white lasting head. Oily, not-too-sweet aroma of cereal grain and sadly, a little bit of corn (hope I’m wrong! - maybe canola?). The taste is clean, again that oily cereal character, no corn - simple, very crisp, no aftertaste. Not bad! AWS9 (231), Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 13, 2008 Bottle. Aroma is fairly weak, though what is there is corn and grain, with some hop. A little pungent actually. Gold, with decent head. Hoppy, a little sweet and bitter, grain and corn accents. Pretty good, not great. VeloVampire (490), Parkdale, Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Aroma quite sweet - corn, grain, honey - a small amount of hops. Flavour nicely balanced, but a touch overly sweet. Not a bad pale lager, but certainly the least impressive in Camerons stable. Would be nice on a hot summer day.
