The beer had a murky red-brown color, was somewhat cloudy and had a very faint off-white head that was almost immediately gone and had very little cling. Its aroma featured caramel malt, a bit of spice and maybe brown sugar, and some light grainy hops. The flavor was sweet and malty with a light caramel note, but also had a heavy bitter component. On the palate the beer was also somewhat watery and had a light, unexciting mouthfeel with low carbonation. I was not too excited with this beer, only average.
