can. carbonated yellow pour with thin head. smell of malt liquor, rice and alcohol. The aroma may also be described as the smell after a tire fire in Detroit or perhaps what the river in Cleveland must have smelled like before it caught on fire. The children of Chernobyle would be proud. this is a tough one even for one sip.

Oh, don’t be so funny. You must consider value, and take a beer for what it is proposing to be. This 24 oz. can, came to me at $1.19. This has one of the worse aromas I have ever smelled. Taste is thin, but no worse than a cheap watery lager with that infamous corn taste. This isn’t even a decent lager, it’s quite bad. But it beats Steel Reserve.

Rated 3/11/06: The top of my can says "Special Reserve" ok who are they kidding, this is hands down a bottom of the barrel malt liquor. I cracked my can and poured an 8 ounce glass full because I needed to see straight into the eye of the evil hidden behind that aluminum can. Pours a dark yellow color with a thick head and constant heavy carbonation. The aroma is revolting, the mouthfeel makes me a little woozy, and the flavor is simply horrific. Overall this "strong lager, a.k.a. malt likka kikka is a tough sell for me, because even if I was looking to get a quick drunk on this beer (term used loosely) is tough to drink. Be afraid, be very afraid!

Ok, I’ve drank quite a bit of malt liquor in high school, but this takes the cake. A friend of mine asked me what it tasted like. I told him that this beer makes steel reserve taste like new castle. This is the worst tasting beer ever!

Wow, I was suckered into trying this crap, and I’m sorry I gave in. I finished the big ol’ can, to be polite to the generous provider, and I could definitely feel a buzz starting. I guess that’s the point (to get you F’d up), not to enjoy the taste. Pretty sweet, and corny, with the requisite metal and alcohol tastes. Maybe its good for young and poor people who just have to get drunk for as little money as possible.

No aroma. The flavor on this is thin, yet okay. ha. The taste is somewhat okay per the style, but still no black ice. Now I’ve got the rare camo set - all 5!! Yeah!

WHOA! This is no Black Ice! I swear it smells of urine... tempered ever so slightly by a corny sweetness, alcohol, and zinc. Drew called it right, this is oily. And it definitely looks like urine, complete with a short-lived bubbly head as though some drunkard just stopped splashing around in the tank. It tastes of cheap sugar, maybe some malt, alcohol, and a heavy dose of metallica. Not even the 9% abv can save this puppy.
