I swear it smells of urine... tempered ever so slightly by a corny sweetness, alcohol, and zinc. Drew called it right, this is oily. And it definitely looks like urine, complete with a short-lived bubbly head as though some drunkard just stopped splashing around in the tank. It tastes of cheap sugar, maybe some malt, alcohol, and a heavy dose of metallica. Not even the 9% abv can save this puppy.

The taste is a sickly sweet corn with some wood and honey. Cloying in its sweetness. This is possibly worse than Camo HGL. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA

I think the blue can is the worst, but this ranks right up there. All of these beers have a weird fruity sweetness, with a horrid bitter aftertaste bite. I do not care how cold this is, this is a terrible cheap buzz. dwyerpg (2537), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Oct 2, 2006 No aroma. The flavor on this is thin, yet okay. ha. The taste is somewhat okay per the style, but still no black ice. Now I’ve got the rare camo set - all 5!! Yeah! Drew (2409), Kent, Ohio, USA
| 0.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 1/20 | Jul 5, 2006 Pale peachy yellow, thin head dissolves quickly, no lacing. Aroma is alcohol and sugar. Taste was mostly sweet, like partially disolved sugar with some summer fruit thrown in for exoticness. The worst part of this was the oily palate, like it was "cold filtered" through a car engine. Drink it quickly and run away! (Malt Liquor tasting in the Chat Room, 7/5/2006) mjg74 (1997), La Mesa, California, USA

A fairly smooth corny type flavor but it hid the alcohol dangerously well. I can see me sippin on this swill in the hot suthern sun. Decent crap. Crosling (1854), Loveland, Colorado, USA
| 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | Feb 18, 2005 Mine says Camo 900. 24 ounce can. Light yellow. Mildly aromatic, with a bit of solvent and dirty fish tank along with grass, light grains and alcohol. The flavor is actually pretty unique but still rough, corny and grainy. There are only mild "off" flavors and this isn’t quite as good as Olde English 800.
