HubCitySkin (2), Hub-City, New Jersey, USA does not count Apr 22, 2004 I first found this stuff when I was living in an office - I didn't have much $$ and it was cheap as hell. The smell is rather like sweat and alcohol, in my opinion, and I have to concur with the others about the sweet taste. Not something you break out to impress people with, but if your goal is a quick, cheap descent into alcohol oblivion, there's very few comparable choices on the beer market. PorterPounder (3132), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Apr 14, 2004 Scary looking can - lost it when I placed it in the bushes. Not the worst Malt Likka, and not the best. Wet paper bag aroma overriding the strong smell of grain alcohol, specimen color pour with a quickly dissipating head. Has a bit of a noxious sweet taste to it. Palate is not throat clenching. Passable. Aurelius (2643), Tallahassee, Florida, USA Apr 14, 2004 Well, what shall we say? Purchased under an El bridge in Chicago. Has a tart, fruity cheap aroma. I'm not sure what the marketing approach is here, perhaps it's aimed at the duckblind crowd. Tangy dough lager flavor. ABV edge kicks in at the end. Finish is a bit sweet and somewhat flat. I expect more fizz outta my malt likka. GrainBeltGuzzler (249), Goodhue, Minnesota, USA Mar 22, 2004 Horrible, that is the only word that can be used to describe it. why must I waste characters on such a poor beer, it was terrrrible metaldust (30), Missouri, USA Mar 17, 2004 Two large cans of this and a six pack of BEAST Ice talls made me a happy camper. The stuff has a really strong smell and kind of a sweet taste. Good stuff. c2linguist (3), Washington, Washington DC, USA does not count Mar 7, 2004 The reason I rate the aroma so highly is that one wiff will deffinately knock you on your rear. I'm not necessarily saying it smells good, but I am saying that it smells loud. Although not party to the 40oz, the 24oz version made quite an impression, and the last few onces maks sure that you don't forget the beer's name. However, due to the 8.5% alcohol content and the need to drink quickly for fear that it could taste worse if it gets warm, this beer will cause you to forget everyone else's name. Proceed with caution. ClarkVV (3578), Allston, Massachusetts, USA Mar 5, 2004 Smells sharp, alcoholic, metallic. tastes sweet, highly sharp and putrid. Looks fizzy, clear. I don't know why I even bother with stuff like this. Wow is this stuff foul. I will concede that the mouthfeel wasnt all that bad though, for a cheap malt liquor. kidwiththehair (45), Girdwood, Alaska, USA Feb 5, 2004 Updated: Apr 8, 2006Theres something to be said for drinking to get get drunk and it is certainly "camo". When the reality of being a broke and freezing college student in michigan’s upper peninsula finnaly set in, I often found myself turning to this fairly cheep lager for warmth among other things. Blinding white head, aroma similar to that of a rubbing alcohol, and a flavor so bad its almost good. All in all a novelty beer....I dont think I can ever drink it again but I will always look back on the times I did and smile.
