When the reality of being a broke and freezing college student in michigan’s upper peninsula finnaly set in, I often found myself turning to this fairly cheep lager for warmth among other things. Blinding white head, aroma similar to that of a rubbing alcohol, and a flavor so bad its almost good. All in all a novelty beer....I dont think I can ever drink it again but I will always look back on the times I did and smile. cantchangeit (35), Virginia, USA

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 20/20 | Oct 29, 2003 I love it. It has a great flavor and is nice and cheap. So it isn't some uber trendy import or something it's still good. If I could afford to drink Guinness all day long I would but I live in the real world and actually work for my money so a bargain is always good to find. Best drank out of the 40 bottle. I'm drinking a 40 ouncer now. Aroma, appearance, flavor, palate all much better that the typical ghetto brew....didn't I just say that? LOL..Also, at 8.5% highly alcoholic and am feeling the effects after an 8 oz. glass..heh heh..good stuff... thedm (3834), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA

It had a carbonated deep yello transparent body and a medium malt hop aroma. The flavor of this brew was very haeavy and chewy with with vinuous malt and slightly alcoholic flavors Its mouthfeel is smotth and finished with a noticable alcohol taste. hotstuff (3175), Indiana, USA

This beer poured a medium creamy/soapy white head with fine-small sized bubbles that quickly diminished. The body was clear and carbonated. The hue of this beer was golden and there was no lacing. The nose was that of alcohol and it had a very weird flavor to it.This beer had a burning sensation as it was swallowed, it was bitey, it had an aftertaste that lingered and it was just plain unpleasing to my palate.
