There is only one reason to ejoy a 40 of camo and that is the 8.5%. It gets the job done though, and thats all we ask of a forty. Slick (1962), Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA

When the reality of being a broke and freezing college student in michigan’s upper peninsula finnaly set in, I often found myself turning to this fairly cheep lager for warmth among other things. Blinding white head, aroma similar to that of a rubbing alcohol, and a flavor so bad its almost good. All in all a novelty beer....I dont think I can ever drink it again but I will always look back on the times I did and smile. The smell is rather like sweat and alcohol, in my opinion, and I have to concur with the others about the sweet taste. Not something you break out to impress people with, but if your goal is a quick, cheap descent into alcohol oblivion, there's very few comparable choices on the beer market. | 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 2/10 | 3/5 | 5/20 | Jun 6, 2003 Can. Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting.
Body is medium yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (cereal, grain), with
hints of
apple and alcohol. Flavor is moderately sweet. Finish is lightly sweet,
lightly bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively
carbonation, lightly alcoholic. Not as bad as the other Camo, and a
surprisingly lasting, normal-looking head for a beer of this type. dropkickm79 (53), Oklahoma, USA
