bierkoning (5987), La Tropica, Netherlands Oct 21, 2009 Bottle from Tbone, probably 2,5 years old (best until 3/09). Golden color. Sherry aroma. Sherry flavor with the remains of malt and flowery hops. Surprsiingly well aged and enjoyable beer. Beershine (2678), Hue, Vietnam Sep 4, 2009 Bottle. With this name it’s got to be good, right? Bright dark gold. White head is pretty thick. The aroma is very sweet and candy-like. Melon or apple candy. Artificial fruit aroma and quite a plastic one. The palate is sticky. The flavors are different from the aromas. Enters sweet and apply. then has a bitter finish. Unpleasant, but does finish drier than the aromas let on. Has a malt liquor-like character in the flavors that is familiar. I can actually taste some hops! Oakes (8057), gone rambling, Vietnam Sep 2, 2009 Gold colour. Thin head, some particulate matter. Plasticy aroma with light fruity notes. Firm, alcoholic notes with light plastic on the palate. Some light fruitiness. Dryish finish, mainly from a surprisingly strong alcohol note. Jerre (1755), Waregem, Belgium Aug 30, 2009 Bottle, 33cl (bought @ De Hopduvel Gent) thx Ignace for the bottlewatch.

BoBoChamp (1334), Gent, Belgium Apr 12, 2009 33cl, from De Hopduvel Gent, complex brew, yet easy to drink, not balanced, cloudy, good head, nice brew ogivlado (3036), Zagreb, Croatia Mar 11, 2009 Bottled(330ml). -Golden coloured, lively carbonation, small white head, odd eggy/cheesy nose. The taste is almost the same, eggy/cheesy, yeasty and mild fruity. Quite thin overall. Like you take good Belgian beer and than dilute with water. armando629 (954), Budapest, Hungary Jan 7, 2009 Clear golden beer with a nice white lacing head. Moderated aroma of yeast, some coriander, citruses. Medium body with vertical tastes, malt and sourish yeast, citruses and apple. Not bad, balanced and easy drinkable but not a big beer... serkoptato (32), Budapest, Hungary Dec 29, 2008 A belga Huyghe sörfőzde 6,5% alkoholtartalmú, felsőerjesztésű pale ale típusú szűretlen „söre”. Búzasörökhöz hasonló opálos, világosabb borostyán szín, és citrusos ízek jellemzik. Először citromos, majd narancsos fíling jelentkezik egy visszafogott, decens keserűség felvezetésében. Telt, harapnivaló, ugyanakkor mégis könnyen iható belgaság, amelyet szinte észrevétlenül olajoz a viszonylag magas alkoholtartalom.
