Possibly the foulest LOOKING beer I’ve yet poured! -- massive swarm of chunky bits floating around, like my 15 month-old son spit-up in it. No head really. Mostly a corn syrup kind of aroma with the occasional tropical fruit note, like passionfruit, as I got toward the end. Pretty low carbonation. It was at least interesting, but not my favourite.

Hazy golden orange with copious amounts of huge floaties rotating up and down the liquid like ground coffee in a plunger. The bready yeast aroma dominates on inhalation, with some sweet malt coming through on tasting. Got some vague citrus hops early on too, and a bit of honey late. It’s also pretty bland, with the sweetness proving quite overpowering by the end. The level of floaties ensures that the palate is very chewy, although it does supply a lasting fresh bread aftertaste. Rather forgettable brew.

On draught at Delirium Café, Göteborg. Pale golden. Sourish maize nose. Sour-sweet unpleasant flavour. Lively, porous mouthfeel. Hops are present in both aroma and flavour. No bitterness.

An orange beer with sediment floating around and a small white head. The aroma is yeasty combined with notes of lemon. The flavor is sweet malty - quite boring. A one-dimensional beer.

This seemed to be a watered down version of it’s big brother Campus. Tasted from the bottle and, not knowing what to expect, poured it into a stumpy tulip glass. Hazy yellow body with the most floaters I have ever seen suspended in the liquid like Sea monkeys, had the look of 100% orange and lemon juice. Pour head retention with only minimal lace. Spicy citric aroma with a little vanilla and candi. Fairly light on in the mouth in both flavour and body, and medium in carbonation, it was like the second runnings of a Belgian blonde wort. Aroma was the only thing giving it base as the citric, honey and vanilla flavours seemed far off in the background. Finishes off with a crisp forgettable swallow that left you wondering where the beer went. Not bad, not good.

Clear pale gold; good fluffy yellowish-white head. Vegetable, very grassy nose, hay, greenmalt. Mainly sweet pilsnermalt taste, again a bit grassy, very grainy. Finishes bit tart-metallic, even harsh. Quite refreshing, light bodied, fizzy MF. WTH is this relabled pilsner doing in Australia?

Labelling suggested this was a trappist beer but was more like a sweetish cornish malty lager brew of a sort difficult to categorise. Was bizarre. Very chewy and grainy and not watery. Plenty of floaters added to its strangeness. A beer from another dimension. Something different but not great. Not sure would buy another.

Humdrum lager from a real hit-and-miss Belgian brewer. Lager gold colour, with some sedimentation and a short head. The nose has some citric hops. The palate is thin and quenching. Some sweetness and then nutty bitterness in the finish. Passable lager but unremarkable. (Bottle)
