Commercial Description:

Sweet strawberry and vinuous aroma, mild hops, brown sugar, talc. Dark amber brown clear with large foamy off-white lacing head. Medium-heavy watery body with active carbonation. Alcohol-carbonic burn. Starts medium sweet, with light brown sugar, caramel malt, and some fruitiness. Vapory carbonic tang, not quite sour, but almost salty or light acid. Finish is medium sweet with medium fruity hops. After is sweet-dry, with a bit of chalky bitterness. Alcohol. Cooked vegetable or some cardboard notes. First bottle I’ve gotten where the beer was filled right to the top of the rim - no headspace. Don’t know if this had any ill effects.

Bottle provided by DougShoemaker. Decent aroma, slightly sweetish. Amber colored. Balanced well. Alcohol is hidden fairly well. As stated before, a little too sweet in taste.

Thanks to whoever brought this to the Toronto Christmas Party ’04. Really orangy sweet nose. Tastes like orange halls. Way too freakin sweet in the finish.

Golden amber body with a smallish fluffy white head. funky sweat socks over hops in the aroma. Malt and a touch of bitterness in the finish. Light and boring. Toronto Christmas Party 2004.

Bottle. Typical Huyghe. Fizzy, thin, sugary and boring. Brown sugar and lemon detergent. Not very good.

Bottle - Bierodrome, Holborn, London. A mid brown beer with a fizzy sugary aroma and dubbel-like Belgian sugary flavours. A good thick body. Tasty.

Bottle at Bierodrome (Holborn, London), with Maeib, Joeh, Duff, Kook. Slightly rancid blond. Metal and stilton - not that pleasant. Not for me.
