Commercial Description:

At the Bierodrome, Kingsway. Malty, it lacks character depth, just typical paleish belgian ale, this is lacking.

Golden orange beer.More like a glass of whiskey.Nose of this was like is this beer or what??Nothing stood out and I was a little dissappointed that a Belgian Strong ale could be so nondescript. Some fruits but sour and not that normal sweetness.

Murky, muddy brown color, solid, staying head, leaving a creamy tan ring. Aroma, unusual, but unmistakably Belgian, sour, citric, heady, musty, yet still, somehow attractive, like a cake gone wrong that you still want to eat. Taste: tangy, citric, some hops, but the body is thoroughly malty, good balance, though, with a citric twang atop in the taste. Decent, but unremarkable.

(33cl bottle) Sampled at Winstons English Pub in Saskatoon. This beer was a real DUD! Quick dissipating, white head. Actually could have been flat? Red-orange body with a terribly over-sweetened, marshmellow malty and rotten fruit nose and flavour. Absolutely revolting!

Sweet, fruity and yeasty aroma. Hazy, orange-brown coloured with a thin off-white head. Taste is sweet-malty, fruity with some bitterness and alcohol. Sticky and a bit sharp palate. Not great.

BB december 2003. Clear red-brown coloured (didn't pour the yeast), small head. Nice aroma, yeast, malts, fruits. Flavour is not as interesting, watery, bit sweet, apple juice. Slightly alcoholic finish.
