The aroma is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, citrus, and yeast. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, bread, and fruit as well as a light touch of spices - among them black peber, leading to a dry bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 24, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) My version from "Brouwerij Biertoren" in Kampenhout that went out of business in 1993. Now the beer is brewed in a similar version by Huyghe. Very dark golden, opaque with some impurities and bottle fermentation. Very full-bodied, dry and easy to drink. Nice alright, but nothing spectacular. 260994 yespr (12406), Copenhagen O, Denmark
