Commercial Description:
This deliciously crisp beer is perfect for a hot summer day. The delicate taste of apricots gives a splash of sweetness to the crisp clean wheat ale and results in a refreshingly pure flavour sensation.

A light creamy white head. Medium golden head, light aroma of the obvious, apricot. Nice spice to the taste. Apricot flavour is light but apparent, perfect when the sun is shining.

On tap at the Alibi Room. Aroma and flavour were a pleasant apricot. Smooth mouthful. Not as good as other Cannery’s, but still nice.

Arrives with a resilient, creamy white head, topping a body of cloudy medium gold. Aroma was an enticing apricot scent, as was the taste, although the latter had an addition of perhaps coriander. Nice mouth and finish. Not as good as the St Ambroise, but still very nice.

650ml bottley. Lightly clouded amber. Very thin head. Light apricot scent. Flavour is a little stronger. Crisp and delicate apricot up front and a strong malt finish. American wheat. Nothing wrong with one in the sun.

Aroma has some sharp wheat character along with strong jam-like apricot sweetness. There’s also a bit of a sour under-current. Dull and hazy orange-golden body is topped by a generous and lasting white head that sticks to the sides of the glass. Wheat flavour is strong up front with pleasant apricot sweetness coming out in the finish. Some bitterness lingers in the aftertaste. Not as sweet as the aroma lead me to expect. Medium light body with crisp, lightly prickly carbonation that is quite refreshing. Tulip glass. Just above fridge temperature. Bottle purchased at the BCLS at Hellsgate in Aug-09.

Pours a dull orange with an impressive head and a sweet apricot jam aroma. Taste is quite balanced - apricot is not too sweet, but neither is it particularly natural tasting. Creamy body, good carb. Tasty - sessionable and balanced. I think I’ll give this one another try before the summer’s out.
