Objectively speaking:
A very lean IPA which apparently suffered a lot from the 1+ year of age on it.
I like:
It just felt like a failure, a very timid rendition of the style with unpleasant edges.
I dislike:
Very weak maltiness with dominating dull bready features, rather sweet, but without uplifting much malt-derived flavours at all. Tired citrusy hops stay rather timid. Strong mineral edges, salty even. Loose mouthfeel.

Leafy, orangey hops swing around an anemic honeyed maltiness, leading to a harsh hop bitterness which overshadows any cereal provided by this underachieving (tired?) India Pale Ale.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam covers the clear honeyed blond.
-Watery, mineral passerbys bother the tasting experience at hand.
-Carbonation is very soft and detached.
-Some candied sweetness is redolent of fruity honey.

Jan 19, 2008 Bouteille de 650 ml obtenue via Importations Privées Bièropholie. Arôme: Odeur d’agrumes avec une pointe de caramel. Apparence: La couleur est orangée avec une moyenne densité de bulle. Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de pamplemousse et de citron avec une pointe de caramel. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps ets moyen avec une texture légèrement crémeuse. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. Arrière goût légèrement astringent. (Rating #1434)

Jan 18, 2008 Bière blonde dorée intense, brillante, avec un col blanc crème abondant qui demeure et s’accroche aux bords du verre. Nez bien houblonné avec des notes de pêches et d’abricots, peut-être des notes d’agrumes. L’apparence et le parfum son superbes. Le goût est bien houblonné, saisissant sans être envahissant : floral et un peu fruité. La bouche est ronde et pétillante. C’est une bonne IPA, pas la meilleure, mais dans les très bonnes.

Jan 10, 2008 Pours a golden yellow with a small head and lingering foam & lace. Mango aroma, fruity and dry/tart. Lots of hops - good! Pineapples? Tart finish. Thin body with ok carb. Refreshing, but confusing.
