Clear dark amber color with a small sticky head that never really goes away and just turns into a surface covering lacing. Aroma is strong malty caramel. There are also some light fruit punch hops at the back end of the aroma. Taste is a bit watered down caramel sweetness with some light bark. Aftertaste is light sweet hops.
Sampler @ brewpub.

Had it on tap at Jim Cannon’s Brewery in Mobile. Typical microbrew ale with a bit of a citrus taste.

2005 GCBC. Deep amber color. Aroma of dull old fruit with a touch of butterscotch. Flavor is malty and nutty.

Had on tap at their Columbus location. Light copper appearance, decent sized white head. Faint fruity aroma. Tangy, citrusy flavor with a thick, malty backdrop. Very decent amber ale for a brewpub.

Odd little brew. It was a nice ruby with a big white head. The overall experience was kind of fruity, but aside from that the only thing I can say is that it was very watery, reminding me of a watered down beer. Good, but not great in any respect.

Appearance: Clear, orangey-copper body with a thin, off-white head. Smell: Fairly faint aroma of flowers and a vague pale maltiness. Taste: More of that mild pale maltiness with only a hint of sweetness. Floral, spicy hops with a mild bitterness, though all quite light. Clean finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation. Somewhat watery mouthfeel. Drinkability: A tolerable brewpub amber ale.

On Tap at the brewpub: Nicely balanced malt and hops. Dark orange with thin head that disappeared quickly. Has a mild fruit flavor like grapes. Cannon's best offering.
