aracauna (2238), Georgia, USA Nov 9, 2004 The body is a slightly hazy copper with a weak head. The aroma is buttery (much like the rest of their stuff) and slightly malty. It really needs more hops in the aroma and flavor, but the hop bitterness is ok. They’ve got the strength there for a double IPA, but need to bring up the hops to match. goldtwins (3721), Nesconset, New York, USA Nov 8, 2004 Poured a clear ruby color. Aroma was odd.a mixture of hops and a good bit of butterscotch. Flavor started with some sweet malt then quickly turned to a very piney bitterness that lasted for a long long time. Not balanced well and not pleasant to drink.
