Wow - cloudy reddish brown body with a dark pink creamy head. Aroma is of course very acidic with notes of blueberries and hints of dust, citrus and a little wood. The palate is very soft and smooth. Flavour is very acidic but the blueberries matches the acid very well. Hints of basement, citrus and dust as well. Must be one of the best balanced sours out there. hallinghansen (276), Odense SV, Denmark

Aroma is sour, dust, citrus, and blueberries. Flavor is sour, dry, dusty, citrus and blueberries. The best lambic i have ever tasted. Anker (313), Hillerød, Denmark

Aroma is hay and citrus, with sweet hints of blueberry and cellar. Very nice!
Flavour is dry and dusty citrus and pine, with a smooth and sweet touch of fermented blueberries. Making it nicely balanced and very pleasant.
For sure the best lambic I have tasted.
Batch 4. "8-5-8-3-16=4.0"
Like batch 2 but very fruity and with a vinous touch. Its lagging some of the cellar like and dry citrus/grape notes, due to the extra fruitiness. Beer2000 (1858), Kristiansand, Norway
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jan 26, 2009 375ml bottle 2007. Hazy reddish body with a small, diminishing pink head. Aroma is fruity and sour like Bret. Flavor is fantastic refreshing and sour with fruit in a well balanced and much drinkable way. It’s definitively Cantillon but I don’t know if I really can taste any blueberry, but this is really great. Close to perfection. arjoseph (594), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 4, 2009 I’ve had this twice. The rating is mostly from our ridiculous lambic tasting during GABF 2007; it has been adjusted based on a few sips I had at Alesmith during RBSG 2008 that were better than I remembered it being. Mauve in the glass with a light pink head. Smells mostly of gueuze acidity as all Cantillon lambics do. My first sample wasn’t fruity in the smell at all, but the second sample was wonderfully full of fresh, warm blueberry goodness. As with all Cantillon beers, the initial burst of acidity is golden. Blueberry in the first sample was most noticeable as a burst in the beginning of the finish, but the berries rode the initial fizziness of carbonation in the second sample and were more apparent throughout. The first sample was much earthier and more subtle. Both were delicious, but in different ways. I’d love to have more of this in the future. Todeon (315), Sweden

Aroma is funky with lots of berries and fruit. Taste is berries, oak and some funky notes with plenty of acidity. Would of liked this one much better when its aged awhile but already a treat! Cantillon taste 100 percent better after you lay them down for a few years. Needs to develop more depth to become something special. Nice blueberry flavor though...
