Commercial Description:
A blueberry lambic brewed with Danish blueberries exclusively for Ølbutikken, Copenhagen, Denmark.

There are four different vintages available that, because of the length of time the berries soaked in the beer, have turned out rather differently:

Batch 1: 2005: The berries soaked in the beer too long leaving an almost vinegarish lambic with the well-known Cantillon tartness. The color is hazy orange. Will be sold in extremely limited quantity.

Batch 2 & 3: 2007: A more fruity and not as tart lambic as the 2005 vintage. Beautiful deep red colored.

Batch 4: 2009: Maybe the most fruity batch so far with an extremely well balance between the fruit and the funk!

Batch 5: 2009: Extremely soft mouthfeel with a distinct tartness.

Bottle via marsiblursi, huge thanks for throwing that in!! Pours a cloudy reddish/purple color with a decent sized pink colored head. Aroma is funky, oak, blueberry, plum, acidic. Flavor is bluebeery, citrus, oak, barnyard, grass, acidic. palate is medium to light bodied, mediumcarbonstion, finished massively tart and resreshing. Lip puckering. This was absolutely amazing!!

A 750 ml from ’05. My favorite lambic thus far. Intense vinous quality that blossoms with a vinegar and tart balance. Full bodied with a great hazy red appearance. 05 - 4.8 07 - 4.6 07 - 4.4 09 - 4.6

(Bottle 37,5 cl) Vintage 2007. Pours a very cloudy reddish colour with a small, reddish head. Very sour and delicious Brett aroma with a fruity touch. Medium body, notes of almond and marzipan while the fruitiness is rather downplayed. Lots of sour Brett accents. Acidic, astringent finish yet still amazingly well balanced. 220308

Thanks for the trading, Kim (belJohansen), I hope you enjoyed it ash mush as me :-) Year 2007: Beautiful ruby read, bubbly with short lasting pinkl head. Notes of berries, leather, wood and barn yard. Tart but not as tart as prevoius year. Dry finish. A great lambiek, though it lacks sourness.

Need re-rate this beer is perfect, a 5 indeed. 3rd Beer of the Beer Spot Tasting Sunday March 30th, 2008. Bottle via trade with Marilibusi, 2007 vintage, I brought this one. This was a fun beer to open, we popped the cap, and the cork rose on its own and flew up high, we didn’t loose a drop but it was a fun momentous opening. Pour red/pink with an off white head. Nose is sweet adn blueberry and super duper tart and really nice. Taste is full of blueberry, acidic and pucker. The taste is pure pure blueberry no fucking around like most blueberry beers. Taste is truly amazing, sweet blueberries, by far the best blueberry beer ever and probably my favorite lambic fruit I’ve ever had.

Bottle shared by Wetherel at the Fordest tasting. Aroma of real blueberries, some lambics can taste like artifical flavors, not this one, fresh blueberry aroma. Can it really taste as good as it smells? Oh yes, it can.

375 ml bottle shared by wetherel. Lots of blueberry aromas along with the delicious funk of a tart lambic. Flavors were serious blueberry. More blueberry on the finish with lots of tart funkiness to really give it a punch. Very very good stuff.
