| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Aug 30, 2007 Bottle, head to head, RBESG 07. Hazy yellow, no head. Sour oaky, fruity, yeasty nose. Mouth is fruity, sharp, then smooths out, with some vinous tones, and some more oakiness. Still bites at the end, even though it smooths. Excellent. rlgk (3378), Vårgårda, Sweden

| 4.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Aug 27, 2007 Bottle thanks to Jacob, shared at west brewpub with rbesg07 crew. Aroma is cantillon junk complexity with something just this little twist of citrus mandirin, like my god its like yee haaa. Taste completly shocked me, soo drinkable soo complex, the sourness is very slightly held back but this malty citrusness, which seemsa to totally suit it, one of the best beers in the world by far. I’m afraid lambic is not my favourite type.
This was very lambicky with lots of acid. There is some butter in there, too, but otherwise it is citrus all the way. henrikb (1305), Aarhus, Denmark
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 13, 2006 Hazy golden body, small white head; Great nose, but not as clear as expected, there is more wood then chardonnay (exactly like in a bad white Burgundy), lots of warm vinegar and warm lemon juice; Flat, very acidy, quite full body (for a Lambic); Long warm very acetic and fruity acidy finish, it is a little harsh too, dry and soft at the same time, loooots of ripe grape fruit both juice and peel. Great beer, but I would prefer a straight Cantillon Geuze or Lambic any day. awaisanen (1279), Irvine, California, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 29, 2006 From 750mL Bottle. Hazy, light orange pour with a thin, fizzy layer of white head. Very acidic, vinegary aroma of freshly picked granny smith apples and rhubarb. A great layer of oaky wood and sour barnyard character blend to create an acidic vinous delight. The palate is much softer and gentler than the aroma seems to indicate. Light, crisp mouthfeel with a tingling carbonation. Light fruit flavors of pear and apples come through beautifully with a squeeze of fresh lemon. Dry, acidic finish with a touch of spice. bager (2121), Copenhagen N, Denmark
