A hazy orange beer with no head. The aroma is primarily of grapefruit. The flavor is sweet - yet somewhat sour with notes of grapefruit as well as hints of white wine. The end is dry. Thanks, Jacob, for sharing.

(Bottle 75 cl) Hazy golden, almost no head. Sourish nose. Typical sour Cantillon character, but even so it comes with a surprisingly softness. I cannot really detect the Bourgogne-notes. 120805 & 031205

Bottled. Cloudy golden. Tart, typical Cantillon style acidic aroma plus some woody notes. The vinous character is very subtle, and it’s light sweetness just rounds of the citric acid a little. Very elegant and complex. Just superb.

This was our christmas evening beer after all the good food and the gifts from santa and the family *<;o))

Clear orange with a light red shine in the color, a small, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, white head. Aroma is tart, grapefruit, citrus, white wine, wood, grape. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy acidic with a long duration, and a dry dry finish. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is flat. [20081224]

Bottle. Acidic aroma. Cloudy golden colour, almost no head. Acidic, dryish flavour. Not watery, but somehow lacking something I cannot quite put my finger on.

(RBESG05, 750ml bottle) Cloudy apple juice body topped by a big white head. Aroma is light sweet, barnyard, yeasty, lemon. Taste is mild sweet, barnyard, lemon. Light body. Quite sour, but there is a genuine sweetness to offset it. Delicious!

Bottled @RBESG’05
Hazy yellow, small white head. Sour, horse blanket aroma. Dry, but not bone dry. Tasty, very foamy body. Authentic and marvellous lambic.
