Bottle from Dranken Geers. Hazy orange amber with no head. Can taste the cask aging, spice, fruits. Has a wine like sourness. And smells of minge. Finish is a little bitter with a hint of wood and smoke.

750ml from State Line. 2007 bottle. Deep orange/amber pour with almost zero carbonation, only a few big bubbles like detergent poured in water. The straight stuff, as you can tell from the nose, which is sharp, musty, and ripe with brett. The mouthfeel is medium, with a moderately dry finish (well, moderate for a Cantillon). Flavor isn’t quite as complex as one would like. Plenty sour, with an emphasis on fresh grapefruit and wood, but you don’t get the depth of a gueuze. Still pretty rockin’ but not top drawer.

Bottle. Thanks for sharing this one ChristianScheffel. Pours golden coloured with almost no head. Very funky aroma with notes of musty cellar, citrus, wood and vinegar. Flavours of honey, balsamic vinegar, spice, wood and lemons.

I had this beer on tap at Beachwood BBQ’s sour beer fest. This pours an opaque golden color. There’s plenty of funk (barnyard, horse blanket etc) to go around.

Pours a hazy dark golden orange color with golden yellow hues when held to a light source and an almost non existent thin bubbly head that dissapears immediately. Vinegary earthy oak aroma with lots of lactic horse blanket funk. Subtle light fruit notes compliment the strong earthy oak notes. Medium slightly puckering body that isn’t too acidic. Nice tart lactic barnyard horseblanket funk. Light and fairly easy drinking with not as much of a puckering tart mouthfell than I expected or wanted. Dry finish. Light crisp fruit notes. Cherry, grape, apple pear, etc. Sour lactic funky. Not nearly tart enough but still puckering without being very acidic. More vinegary than anything else with a lot of oak/vanilla.

Cloudy orange with a small white head. Strong funky aroma with barnyard, wood, grapefruit, leather and dusty cellar. Tart flavour of wood, leather and grapefruit.

Golden orange colour, no head. Acidic aroma. Extremely sour taste: you can almost feel your teeth dissolving away. On the more delightful side of the lambics.

Organic Lambic pours very flat almost wine like. First sip and it feesl like the sour is on the tip of your tongue. The acidity is low which makes this the most drinkable Cantillon I have ever had. Very Quaffable. I plan on aging the other bottle I have.
