| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 19, 2008 Friend brought this over and shared the bottle, dropped like $27 or something on it. Pulled out the cork with little to no carbonation. Pours out a slightly cloudy orange color. If you shook the glass enough a tiny head appeared. Aroma very sour and vinous, with some earthy oak undertones. Flavor was tart and sour, earthy oak notes, some citrus. Interesting, but I don’t know if it was worth the price tag. cheeta (900), Langå, Denmark

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Jan 12, 2008 2005 vintage Courtesy of Degarth. My first rating of this style. Thanks. Pours hazy gold with orange hue and almost no head. The aroma is mild tartness and tart cherry fruitiness followed by solid funkiness. I also get mild vegetable-ish alcohol notes. The taste starts watery followed by a bolt of tartness that buckles the knees and causes a wince of apparent pain. The fruit noted in the nose is just noticeable on the palate. Wow. This is tart. Could use many many more years of aging. I didn’t notice any wood being that it is cask aged for three years, pity. Interesting and refreshing experience. HenrikSoegaard (4321), Randers, Denmark
